Using Taskzin on mobile

What the mobile apps do well, what they deliberately leave out, and how offline changes are reconciled.

What mobile is for

The mobile apps are built for the things people actually do away from a desk: checking what is assigned to them, replying to a comment, moving a card along, attaching a photo and creating a task before they forget it.

What is not on mobile

  • Building automations and editing workspace settings
  • Timeline editing — you can read a timeline, not drag it
  • Bulk edits across more than twenty tasks

These are deliberate. They are the operations where a mis-tap is expensive and hard to notice.

Offline

Anything you write offline is queued on the device and sent when the connection returns. If someone edited the same field while you were away, Taskzin keeps both versions and shows the conflict on the task rather than silently picking a winner.
