Import from Trello, Asana, ClickUp or CSV

What each importer brings across, how the CSV column mapping works, and the three things worth checking in the preview before you commit.

The native importers

  • Trello — boards, lists, cards, labels, checklists, attachments and comments
  • Asana — projects, sections, tasks, subtasks, custom fields and comment history
  • ClickUp — spaces, folders, lists and custom fields, mapped to projects and fields
  • Monday — boards and column types, with column values preserved

CSV

For anything else, export to CSV and map columns to fields. The importer matches on a column you nominate as the unique key, so running the same file twice updates rather than duplicates.

Check these before you commit

  • Do the assignee emails in the export match the emails in your workspace? Unmatched people import as plain text.
  • Are dates in a format the previewer parsed correctly?
  • Does the preview count match what the old tool reports? A gap usually means archived items you did or did not want.
