Time tracking and reports

Timers, manual entries, billable rates and the exports your finance team will ask for.

Recording time

  • Start a timer from the task, the board card or the command palette.
  • Add an entry manually with a date, duration and note.
  • Only one timer runs at a time — starting a second stops the first and tells you.

Billable and rates

Each entry is billable or not. Rates are set per person, and can be overridden per project when a client is on a different agreement. Changing a rate never rewrites entries that were already recorded — the old rate stands on the old hours.

Reports and export

Time → Reports groups by person, project, client or label over any period, with billable and non-billable separated. Export gives you CSV or a PDF summary; the CSV includes the entry note, which is usually what makes an invoice defensible.
