Board, list, timeline, calendar and table

What each view is genuinely good at, so you stop forcing one to do another's job.

Pick by the question you are asking

  • Board — "where is everything right now?" Best for flow and standups.
  • List — "what is left?" Best for checklists and long backlogs.
  • Timeline — "will this land on time?" Best for dates and dependencies.
  • Calendar — "what happens this week?" Best for scheduled and recurring work.
  • Table — "let me edit forty things quickly." Best for bulk work and exports.

Every view is the same data

Switching views never moves anything. A task dragged on the board changes status; the same task on the timeline changes dates. Both are edits to one task, visible everywhere immediately.

Grouping and sorting

Any view can be grouped by status, assignee, priority, label or any Select field, and sorted independently. Grouping a board by assignee turns it into a workload view without creating anything new.
